FAQs

CAN I HAVE LIP FILLER BEFORE MY TREATMENT?

Treatments including lip waxing, lip bleaching & lip fillers should not be carried out for atl east two weeks following your procedure

DOES IT CAUSE COLDSORES?

Permanent cosmetic treatments DO NOT cause cold sores. However, if you carry the HerpesSimplex virus it lays dormant in the body and can be inflamed by sunlight, stress, and lip Permanent Make Up. If you have a history of cold sores, please contact your GP to obtain the appropriate medication to prevent outbreaks. Don’t forget to start your course of anti–viral medication on the morning of your treatment, which is usually 200mg of Acyclovir, twice a day for a duration of 5 days.

CAN ANYONE HAVE LIP BLUSH

Lip treatments are not always suitable for clients with darker skin tones because the pigment can mix with your skin’s natural undertones and change colour. If you are unsure whether you are suitable, please send a photo or come in for a free consultation prior toyour treatment.

HOW LONG WILL LIP BLUSH LAST?

This varies from person to person and depends on many factors including your skin type, lifestyle and how well you take care of your lips. Your lip blush can last anywhere between 6 months to 2 years.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?

There will be some minor swelling or redness after the procedure, and it takes 1 week to heal superficially. It takes 28 days to heal fully and to see the results.

IS IT PAINFUL?

Everyone’s pain threshold is different, therefore, we cannot answer this question with a yes or no answer. However, what we will say is that we use numbing cream prior to the procedure and numbing lotion during the application to keep you comfortable. Pain is minimised and controlled.
